Secret Server is compatible with Microsoft Active Directory. For authentication, Secret Server negotiates the authentication. It will attempt to use a Kerberos ticket for authentication, should that fail it will attempt to use NTLM, and lastly none.
Secret Server as of 6.1.000000 will negotiate the encryption with the Domain and use the highest possible encryption that the domain controller can support. Please contact your domain administrator for information about your domain's supported encryption.
