1) Edit the template via Administration->Secret Templates and add a SimpleMachine field (text).
2) Click Configure Launcher and bind the SimpleMachine field to the Domain.
3) Edit a secret for the template and populate the fields as follows:
Machine: Fully qualified machine name. (for example, machine.mydomain.com)
SimpleMachine: Machine name (for example, machine )
Heartbeat and Remote Desktop Launcher should now work.
