Manually installing and uninstalling Password Reset Server Desktop Login

 

Installing:

 

Vista 32-bit

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles\x86 directory, copy the Thycotic.Usizo.DesktopLogin.dll, DesktopLoginResetPasswordWizardCPP.dll, and PRSCredentialProvider.dll files to the client computer's < Windows directory>\ System32 directory.

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles, copy the prs.config to the client computer's < Windows directory>\ System32 directory.

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles, copy the Register.reg file to the client computer and run it.

Vista 64-bit

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles\ IA64 directory, copy the Thycotic.Usizo.DesktopLogin.dll, DesktopLoginResetPasswordWizardCPP.dll, and PRSCredentialProvider.dll files to the client computer's < Windows directory>\ System32 directory.

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles, copy the prs.config to the client computer's < Windows directory>\ System32 directory.

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles, copy the Register.reg file to the client computer and run it.

XP 32-bit

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles\x86 directory, copy the GinaHook.dll file to the client computer's < Windows directory>\ System32 directory.

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles, copy the prsgina.config to the client computer's < Windows directory>\ System32 directory.

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles, copy the RegisterGINA.reg file to the client computer and run it.

XP 64-bit

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles\IA64 directory, copy the GinaHook.dll file to the client computer's < Windows directory>\ System32 directory.

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles, copy the prsgina.config to the client computer's < Windows directory>\ System32 directory.

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles, copy the RegisterGINA.reg file to the client computer and run it.

 

 

 

 

Uninstalling:

Vista-bit

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles directory, copy the Unregister.reg file to the client computer and run it.

XP-bit

·         Inside the <application server installed directory >\DesktopLoginFiles directory, copy the UnregisterGINA.reg file to the client computer and run it.
